Thought I'd share my Corolla track car build,

It's an 02 t sport done 99k wasn't in too bad Nick but needed quite a bit of tlc,

So far it's had quite a lot of weight out circa 140kg,

Coilovers, changed all calipers with better condition ones, fitted braided lines new discs and yellow stuff pads all round with it 5.1 fluid. Mishimoto Rad as old one was leaking

In the middle of getting the wheels refurbed, cars had a full service, just lift bolts to do, gearbox oil change, then she will be ready to blast round :)

One knackered wishbone replaced, also fitted smaller Battery up front and made a bracket to secure it, a couple of kg saved,

Lift bolts changed, these wear and do snap occasionally, good to see someone has previously looked after the car as it had the newer revision ones fitted, they were showing signs of wear, the shiny rings on the bottom. One more less thing to worry about :)

Heh! I weighed my spare wheel today and it was only 16.6 Kg!

But it does all add up. I wouldn't have thought trim would weigh anything like as much as it does.

It must be a bit buzzy in there now. I was co-driving a fully stripped MItsubishi Mirage Cyborg-R last year, and it was NOT a pleassant place to be for long periods!

That should go like a rocket. You doing anything to get more power out of it, or looking for lighter alloys?

It's not that bad inside to be honest still have all the dash insulation, and around the transmission tunnel still has insulation and the thin carpet is still in, weighted in at 1112kg on weightbridge with half tank of juice, still on standard exhaust/intake for the minute there going to be the only power mods, want to keep it reliable,

Oh and keeping standard alloys for the min as I like how they look, just getting them powdercoated as we speak :)
