Ive Been Busy In My Bodyshop ... With My Aygo Again .... Pic Heavy

well i thought i would share some updates of some extra paintwork i did to the car whilst i had a quiet day in my bodyshop,

it took hours going through the colour chips just to find a nice grey that will go with the factory pale blue but anyway heres the progress and results :)

basically i have completely stripped and repaired an old set of 16 inch rims i had and have two toned them to match the car ,

i also completely dismantled the wing mirrors and detextured the horrible black plastic and painted them the same grey as the wheel centers and flippin heck its made such a difference!

I got a bit carried away and also did the two tone to the side skirts!

the next stage is to do the spoiler in the grey but ill do this when i repaint the roof as ive got an irritating rust mark appearing so whilst im doing that ill weld the roof aerial and smooth that off and then the top will be look a bit better than it does currently

some may remember this car as i bought it for pittence at an insurance auction as a cat c write off in which i did all the repairs and paint and this is how it is almost a year later...

heres the wheels on the car, i have got a brand new set of center caps which are now fitted and a complete set of brand new tyres fitted and balanced in my shop and its looking pukka!

cheers guys, yeah thats the mirror plates, i completely dismantled the mirrors so i could get them painted properly :) and yep is currently on stock springs but ill sort that out one day i hope
