Mount Dvd In Glovebox

I have a 2004 Corolla Verso T-Spirit with the DVD player mounted under the driver's seat. I've read in some posts that in the later models, the DVD is mounted inside the glovebox. This seems a much more sensible idea, mine keeps getting kicked by my kids in the back.

Is the later glovebox mounted DVD player the same model as the under-seat mounted one? If I move my DVD player to the glovebox will it still work as it will no longer be horizontal? Does anyone have any experience or any instructions for mounting the DVD player in the glovebox?
