Cold Air Problem

Hi my 2008 avensis T180 is acting up.

What happens is that when the car is fully warmed up the temp gauge half way when I put on the warm blowers whilst driving it blows out hot air.

But when I'm stationary and the car is just idling it turns cold.

Any ideas ??

Hopefully a self fix problem let me know what you guys think thanks.

No pink dots on engine cover and I have no warranty.

Checked the coolant and it seems like there's no oil in it.

How can I check to see if it's an air in the system ?

You will hear a gurgling if it has air..

Things to check is ..

top hose hot?

bottom hose hot?

if you suspect air..

raise the front end of the car.. remove the radiator cap and runthe car on idle with heaters on full hot settings.

How many miles has it done?

Thanks for the quick advice I have not had a chance to drive the car for 2 days but I will check what you have told me currently she has done 126,000
