I was going to go with PI springs before i got my gmax springs that lowers by 40mm, the front of my car seems low, but the back is still really high :cacker:

Yes it does make a hell out of difference in the handling and yes to a harsher ride, watch out going over dipped drains, they are a killer :P

I think all lowering springs do the same job, its just the name innit.

What starlet do you have? If its a normal Si or something then you are going to notice the height much better, as in having the SR lowered standard by 25mm already lowered so might not seem as low as you want it.

But show us some pics when u get them done

Sorry i go on for a bit don't I??!! :!Removed!:

not all springs are equal...

PI springs are pretty good for small light cars (like the starlet), but useless on larger cars..

Spax are more of a comprimise, with a softer ride

Eibachs are very good, but a little stiff over bumps..

Depends what your looking for..

From my point of view in what I experienced...

PI springs are alright on big cars, from experience in my brother's Bmw lowered with PI springs and they are an alright ride in them, now thats a big car, a saloon.

Spax in my mates MR2, totally bumpy ride

Eibach is on my mates Honda civic hatch and it's not that much of a bumpy ride, not that stiff over bumps too.....

It really is up to you starletboy, could be different feel in a starlet..
