The seats may differ with trim, so a clue as to the actual model you have might be useful.

We have a 2008 D4D in T3 trim. The seats are fine for us, but obviously people differ in what suits them. Same as beds :D

The seats are comfortable on our Yaris but I can't comment on the beds as they weren't an option on our model! :)

Just been on holiday to the south coast, 260 miles each way, and seats in my 59 plate T-Spirit were amazingly comfortable. No back problems at all. I find the seats really comfortable, very surprised for a small car.
