Latest Fuelly down by 4mpg on best result. Whats that all about. Not changed my driving style but did have an extra passenger for 3 days. Last time I cart my fat sister-in-law around. Respraying done, not too bad a result. Can see 'the join' with the sun on it, but better than the thumbprint dent that was annoying me. Looks ok from 50 paces. Car now running fine after my 'plugs' fiasco. Memo to self. If you want a job doing, do it yourself, dont pay a garage £100 to do it. Now just a sunroof to source. Cheers Colin

I wouldn't worry too much about variance in mpg, as you say you've been carting extra weight. Mine goes up and down with the weather , bit of xtra speed , local driving you name it. In over 5 years it swung betwen 47 and 56 mpg. But I reckon on 52 summer and 50 winter , but winter can go down to 48 and summer can go up to 56, and I'm basically on the same road (a14 -m6) 4 days a week.i'd only start to worry if it dropped to mid 40's consistantly

Thanks Tony. You have reassured me. I expect it was the extra weight as normally it is within a whisker each fillup. Suddenly started thinking about sticking brakes etc etc. Cheers Colin.
