Help.anyone Else Had This Problem

Hi,

I have just received a pair of Clear Glass Indicators to replace the Orange ones on my 1998 Rav4.

I purchased them from Euro Car Parts and carefully read the eBay Vehicle Comparison charts and it clearly states that they will fit any Rav from 1994 up to 2000.

WELL, they don"t fit mine!! They are too big depth wise and have the sidelights incorporated within them, so I am taking them back tomorrow to the nearest Euro Car Parts store near me. Has anyome else bought the same?

Sorry to hear of your problem but I'm not in the least surprised. I've stopped using ECP as they are incapable of supplying any parts correctly.

They are a massive waste of space and I fail to understand how they manage to stay in business.

Can you get OEM parts from Toyota? I know that they might seem expensive but at least you'll know that they fit!

Hi,

Phoned ECP and explained to them that they do not fit and have subsequently taken them back to a ECP store for a full refund but it has Cost me money in Petrol to do so, which I hope ECP will refund me.

I have contaced ECP and told them that their Advertisment on their web site is misleading and incorrect, so it will be interesting to see if they change it. But they are not the only ones selling these Indicator lens also stating that they will fit any Rav from 1994 up to 2000, and yes they will fit later models including late 1998 which I have subsequently found out have different Front Bumpers!!

but mine is an earlier 1998 which has a much smaller recess where the Indicators fit. I did not know this when I ordered them.

So obviously to be able to Fit Front Clear Glass Lenses I would have to change the Bumper!

Anyone have a 1999/2000 front Bumper for sale?

Ditto. And with expecting them to change their website. ECP is apparently run by 6-year olds.
