Not sure if anyone has mentioned this product before but I have been using it a while and its really very good. I think the app is around £3.50 and I have been using it on my Android Galaxy S5 with no problems. In addition to the app you also need an OBD2 bluetooth scanner which can be had from about £4. Mine cost about £7 off the Bay but I am considering buying a more expensive one as the general rule is that the more you pay the faster the data transfer speeds. The sky is the limit here as Scantool adaptors can be up to £150. The one I have works fine but it would be nice to have a slightly quicker refresh rate on the realtime displays. That said, if you are just using it for diagnostics then any adaptor will do.

There are various screens within the app and a multitude of gauge designs, some of which can be downloaded but you can also customise your own ones which is done by simply altering the code within Notepad and uploading it into the app. The picture below is one of my screens, which I customised by changing the dial and needle colours to suit my Aygo (I have blue LEDs in my stock dials).

The app is very powerful and can not only read all OBD data, it can display it however you want and if you enter all the details of the vehicle it can calculate timing data such as 0-60, 1/4 miles times etc. It can also data-log whatever you want so you can drive the vehicle as normal and then pull up the data when you stop.

You just drag the display to switch between screens - one might have your realtime gauges, the next your timing/performance information and the next your fuel consumption data. I think you can have up to 8 screens in total. The pic below is just my gauge screen which does need a bit of alteration as the ignition gauge was pre-set for a turbo vehicle but this isn't a problem as you can set the mins/max to whatever you want easily. It's rather fun to see the lateral G I can hit with my coilovers... :)

I will probably end up replacing the rev counter with another display as I have the stock counter but it's nice to have it there for the mo. You could use the app with a tablet for a bigger display which I might do as there is a nice space for it at the top centre of my aftermarket double DIN panel. Anyways, well worth a look if you are trying to find diagnostic issues or just want a bit of fun.
