Late 4.3 Or Early 4.4

Considering the purchase of either one of these (both Diesels) - looking around at the various Web reviews it appears both have positives and negatives over each other.

It appears that the market is flooded with 4.4's and good example older models (63 plates) can be had for a couple of thousand more than the late model 4.3.

Other than fuel economy, an new in car entertainment system and a rear opening up and over tailgate what are the other improvements?

Are any members upgrading later 4.3's for 4.4's?

Having been a previous owner of both 4.1 & 4.2 models i am trying to convince myself that 4.3 is the way to go but looking for advice from the forum from owners.

I would choose the 4.4 just for the rear door. The 4.3 can get very wet on a rainy supermarket run.

Not sure about the spare wheel situation, my 4.3 has a tin of the gunge that is now out of date.
