Hi got a 2008 (58 plate) 2.0l D4D and was wondering if this has a dual mass flywheel? Also has anyone a rough price for how much a clutch kits would cost amd of it were cheaper buying online or from a parts supplier. Im in the trade but hey every little count when fixing your own car!! Lol

Yes, I believe your car does have a DMF. Have you seen the post about replacing it with a solid flywheel?

Lots of taxi owners around here changed over to solid flywheels because of the cost of DMF replacement and they seemed quite happy with the results. Valeo do a conversion kit which has an improved version of the DMF (of course they also do a solid flywheel replacement kit) which you may already know about if you're in the trade. See valeoservice.co.uk

Think when I do do the clutch I'll stick with a DMF unless the cost of it is astronomical then I'll put in a solid one don't really want have to change my driving style (just what I've read on here) to save undue strain long term on the gear box. Still ill find out when I come to it. :-)
