Sraping / Rubbing Noise On Full Lock Only

Hi All

I have a 2005 1.8vvti hatchback 65000 miles with short block repacement, etc. Recently had both front bearings replaced. Super quiet drive now except for a scraping rubbing noise if on full lock only. Took it back to the garage they checked everything including the "disc sheilds" but could find nothing.

Had this on a 2007 avensis after brake replacement but sorted by toyota. They knew exactly what it was!

I can take the car back again to the garage when I have more time as they are willing to help but any ideas anyone?

Best Wishes

Siri

It will be the disc shields catching - the discs rub at the lowest point. No real need to take it back in or even remove the wheels - just get a long screwdriver and push the shield at that point and slightly bend it inboard away from the lowest rim edge of the disc.
