Avensis Tuning Box

Hi I'm thinking of getting a tuning box for the d4d anyone tried them and what they like any problems with them?I've seen one called blue spark and the dtuk one pluse type that goes on to each injector plug.not sure where the blue spark goes.prices for the dtuk are around £325 & blue spark is £89.

I've been looking at these too just to get a bit extra pull. From what I've seen the cheaper ones are just resistors and fool the system. The more expensive ones are supposed to be better for the engine long term. A local auto spark and remap shop in Belfast quoted me £400 for one.

You are correct, the cheaper ones only boost the fuel pressure, and long term that is not good for your car

Think the blue spark one plugs into each injector?dtuk is also the pulse type which is into each injector too.and £50 cheaper though.
