I believe that the file "XTOUCH + RC1 + software + update" is complete and enough to update the system to version 804. I think the file "13TPDAEU-EA01_0003 (840 version)" is just the firmware.

I’ve just tried your link to download the version 13TPDAEU-EA01_0003 (840 version) but it needs a key.  Can you help?   I have 820 at the moment is this an improvement?

Hi Devon,
 

Downloaded the zip file. I extracted the KIWI file and followed all the steps. 
The head unit shows that 1 of 1 files is been installed arround 35% the headunit shut off and goes back on and then does nothing. 
When i check the system it shows that the old Audio 0820 is still in place. Tried doing it severall times.
Tried a different USB and Tried Downloading the file again and still nothing.
Any Advice???

Hi folks,

Today I've bought a Toyota Aygo from 2014 which is currently on 705.
I've followed all steps, got both 810 and 840 on usb drives but my car doesnt seem to recognize any of the usb drives (I have 3 of them)
I don't get any pop up at all after i insert the usb drive when it's on software update mode. 
I tried both FAT32 and NTFS formats, both to no avail. The usb drives are 4-16-32GB ones.
Does anyone have any idea?

As you are on version 0705 you MUST update to version 0810 first you can then jump versions upto the latest of 0850, you must also ensure only the correct file is on the USB, see:

I was already aware of that, I happened to find out that my multimediasystem does not recognize any usb stick at all.

I even inserted a usb stick with music on it and the usb stick is greyed out on the media menu.

I am guessing its a faulty or lose cable (it does charge my phone when I connect it though). Really strange.

Do you have any idea how I can remove the X touch system from the dashboard? I took the plastic piece off but I dont see any screws holding the multimediasystem in place.

I'm thinking by buying a second hand aygo 2 (2015 1.0). The current owner uses her iPhone for GPS. But I own a pixel 3a. From the last post, I understand i should be able to update to get android auto compatibility if not already there ?

Android auto is only available on post 2018 models with third "Talk" switch on the audio unit, there are no updates available for earlier models other than installing a headunit from a later car

   ii. Do not change or rename the .kwi-file.

   iii. Don't put the .kwi-file inside a folder on the USB-stick.

5. PLEASE LABEL AND NAME THE USB-STICK FOR FURTHER LATER USAGE. E.G. "AYGO X-TOUCH 0850"
   

At this point, the USB-stick is ready to proceed with the actual software reprogramming --> see "2. Update the X-Touch Display-unit to software-version 0850"
