Rob,

I think they are roughly 120bhp, 0-60 in about 8 secs.

Yes you can make it go faster, have a look on www.fensport.com under your model, you'll find loads of bits and pieces for the car.

And yes again, you are going to love it!!!!!

Happy driving!

lol, how much do u want to know... :D

0 - 60 in 7.7 secs (magazine tested)

Top Speed - around 125mph

BHP - 122 @ 6600rpm

Torque - 103 lb/ft @ 5000rpm

all the usual stuff can be done to make it faster, as well as god knows how many engine conversions. if you want any specific info, let me know, i might well have it. what colour is yours, btw? (for some reason, only the white ones were colour coded!)

thanks for the info guys, mines a red one with black bumpers. well love the look though nice shape in a 80's kinda way. and that engine is a screamer! the rev limit is at about 7800 rpm going off the gadge! crazy for a car that age. think i'm going to want to keep this one

not interested in a 3S-GTE conversion are you good for 300+bhp?:)

hi and welcome to the club mate as has been said alrady zorst and air cleaner are a good start ( mongoose system i can recomend for sound and gains) then air cleaner is up to you as mine was originaly the later 129bhp model a replacement Ram air filter worked best but a straight forward cone may be best for you.

cheers

its already got a JR air cleaner on it with a cold air pipe pointing at it. if i was to put a Mongoose Exhaust on, what bhp roughly would that make it? and what diff would a chip make, any one know a good one for the corolla gt? i want to have this at least around 150bhp

thanks.

for that sort of power you'd be best to update to the later non-tvis lump but your easiest route is a 4A-GZE conversion 160bhp as std and a few simple mods will see 190ish bhp. good thing is that it now been done a few times so there are a few ppl out there to help you. straight fwd swap with a small amount of wiring. seefensport for more info (and they have a few of these conversions ready to be shipped out. just think order now and about 2 weeks time you can be annoying a lot of the boy racers out there:)

not going to be changing engines, this one seems great to me. i must to be able to get it to 150ish bhp with out to much bother. i've got a noz kit in the shed that has a 50 bhp jet fitted to it which used to be on my nissan 200sx. maybe i could just put that on it but not sure how well it would like it, anyone fitted noz on this lump? that would get it near 190bhp without spending any money
