Master Brake Cylinder For 1990 Lj70

I have just acquired a 1990 LJ 70 2.4 -- my local mechanic says the master brake cylinder is totally shot and apparently the rear brakes just don't work (new seals not enough) -- but I can't find a replacement with the right bore -- only one available is too big (perhaps intended for all round discs rather than front discs and rear drums) -- has anyone got any ideas about where I could find the right part? -- or will a cylinder with an oversize bore compared to the one being replaced work effectively? -- or am I being misinformed?

Thanks for any well informed advice

correction to my post -- the cylinder that is available has a 15-16mm bore but the one I need is 22.8mm
