has any one out there had to adjust mechanically the stops on the variable vane turbos ?

Just recently fully rebuilt the 1vdftv v8 ,including new turbos (twin)

they are a vari vane stepper motor controlled with hall effect positioning feedback sensors ,that feed back to the stepper drivers

the is no slotted area to adjust the sensor , and usually electronic engine self calibrate, the only adjustment is on the vane stops on the turbo housing (extremely difficult to get too , and adjust both side turbos the same )

the car throws codes control boost sensor A ,...or B low or High

have checked all harness for continuity ,voltage ,checked and swapped over the driver boards , removed and replugged sensor and manually held in position ...and cleared faults all good , however refitting sensor to turbos puts the sensors in the hi or low position ......

the only logical way it to adjust or calibrate

anyone have a procedure for this ..........I know the local turbo guys don't , and just read a forum from a Toyota dealer asking the same question .....
