Corolla Rear Seat Release Mechanism

Hi there,

I recently purchased a Corolla SR VVti 2006.

Love the car so far...

...But found out yesterday that the rear seat release is broken on the O/S (driver side)

The button to release the seat was loose in the hole and did nothing at all.

I managed to remove the button but I'm pretty sure that a plastic part from the rod has come loose too and dropped into the seat somewhere.

I think I will have to remove the covering board on the rear of the seat to access the lock etc. Does anyone have any experience of this?

Any help would be brilliant.
