Anyone any idea how to fix

I've no sd card

and display is showing

Cannot read contact dealer

And some Chinese writing

No radio or nothing

Any help would be great

Even just to get the audio / cd / radio working would be great ??

Moved to the Avensis club.

Might be a help to know the year of your Avensis (your profile is showing Corolla Compressor) and which model the audio unit is.

I've just purchased the car it's

a 2011 toyota avensis estate

more suitable for the kids

the compressor is in the garage

If the satnav mapping is by SD Card then it won't work without the it. As far as I aware the audio system should work without the SD Card. If you have just bought it from a dealer then you should take it back.

According to the thread I mentioned earlier, if the operating system is corrupted, then no radio/ cd, satnav etc.

Apparently what might work is disconnecting power for 30 minutes or so.

But a more certain way is to reload the OS from an SD card with a file called loading.kwi which I believe might be available as a download. Or via the aforementioned thread.
