Trying to get front fog lights to work! ( 2002 D4D Avensis )

I have bought the fog lights and a new fog light stalk with the two switches and the relay that is attached to it... i have checked the fuse and the stalk - although there only seems to be one light on the dash when both switches are on...

Any ideas how i could get these fog lights to work? ... i have read through previous forums with no joy

Thanks!

The wiring is in place, you may need a bulb for the dash warning, and a relay is also needed.

I am sourcing the photo and info to post on the forum.

You may be missing the relay located under the dash, near the right hand wing.

I have found the picture where the fog light relay is located and what it looks like:

Look for the left most relay of the group of 4 in the picture.

Once that is in place and the dash warning light bulb has been installed, check the operation by hearing the relay click. Make sure the connections to the actual fog lights are clean and good. 13 years of muck may be the cause.
