Safety Recall!

Hi all, just received my recall from the DVSA for a potential moisture intrusion problem that may make the inflator assy on the drivers airbag more susceptible to rupture during a crash!!

They are currently developing a programme to fit a modified inflator to replace the one's on effected vehicles? I have a 54 plate Rav 4 D4D XT4.

Date for actual call in of vehicle to follow?

This is a recall that was announced in June and is part of the ongoing Takata (manufacturer of the airbag) recalls that have affected around 11 vehicle manufacturers worldwide.
