That reminds me of when I was trying to fit a USB multi-cd emulator to my 2nd Mk1 Yaris - I couldn't be bothered to take the dash apart again like I did on the first one, and tried to just slide the plug up the back from the passenger footwell - Ended up sitting upside down in the passenger seat with my head on the floor and a torch in my mouth trying to plug it into the back of the head unit from behind (If human arms could bend backwards it would have been a lot easier! )

It worked tho'!!

Do people still use physical CDs in cars, in 2021 ?

I would if the car had a CD player! But that was an emulator, so you could play folders of MP3s via the CD Changer port on the Mk1 Yaris' headunit like you can on more modern cars (I still find it funny that having a multi-disc changer was even an option on the Mk1 Yaris. Where would you put it for starts!? )

Done that before! When we converted the corrado to manual from auto that was one of the only ways to get under the dash. But that was about 15 years ago. And we had the seat out too
