I recently bought a 2006 model . I am in New Zealand and the car is a Japanese import. I would like to disable the voice introduction which plays every time I start the car. I believe it is a welcome or states the date and time or something! Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hello Catherine - welcome to Toyota Owners Club.

We don't have a similar greeting on European Auris. Could be possible that a dealer could disable the greeting by accessing one of the car's menus.

Might not be greeting, could be handsfree system. Try one of those voice recorder translators to record and translate the saying :)
