2 Out Of Three Brake Lights Not Working

Hello everyone from a new member,

My 09 aygo rear brake lights are both out today. All other lights work, including the brake light strip above the rear window. So assumed that both bulbs had gone by chance.

Checked the bulbs, fine.

Checked the fuse behind the steering unit... 10A is OK.

As all other electrical aspects of the car seem to be in working order, confused as to the cause.

Any ideas please?

Sounds like a broken earth or power lead.

Test the power first , if okay look for a faulty earth.
