Hi folks,

Got my car nice and low, on 18s and looking pretty snazy but with my graphics and all the Toyota spoiler looks a bit weak. Any suggestions what would look good?

I was thinking of an Alfa or old style Teg-R style one, definately not a alluminium Klingon Battleth :

Here's how my car looks at the moment :

Thanks,

are you going side skirts, front end etc?

Have a look at www.mr-2.com ..

the rev5 spoiler is always a winner.

Dun get a aluminum what ever you do. Once people see that they will think ur a ricer.

Still think TOM's or TRD .. but I am a fan of the SPL one too ..

i reckon the rev5 spoiler will look pretty good B)

Think the Rev5 would look good too

Hey Rikki, your car looks damn good without the front number plate!

What are the legalities surrounding this, any idea?

i think you can get away with it if you have it on the dash as Bibbs has, dunno bout putting it in the radiator grill though...

looks like he's just photochopped the plate out of the picture guys.

As for spoilers, I like the rev5. ( obviously... lol )

My order of choice is MRD 1st TRD 2nd and the Rev5 spoiler 3rd.

that's some weird rear lights there mate. What are they? Modified rev6 rears ?

Posted

Yes the rear lights are a revision6 prototype.

All the light clusters are LED's rather than LED rings the entire cluster lights up.

They do look very Supra'ish with all 4 red clusters illuminated.

The original rev6 lights IMO look pap on a white MR2 much better suited to darker coloured cars.

oooooh, i like those lights!

I'm looking to get a full set of rvision 6/roguesystems decals for JAE.

Seeing as nearly everything they sell is on my car.. lol.

Go for the TRD2000GT rear wing. Beautiful.

Wish I had. Saying that, the Toyota Rev5 'Combat' spoiler is very nice too... which is why I went for it. It's 3 way adjustable too. And yes Jimlad... I'm still working on the end caps in carbon fibre! :P

You can get away with having the Rev5 spoiler and TRD spoiler without having any other body mod.

I've not heard great things about the MRD rear wing. Several people I've spoken to at shows have said how the fibre glass has cracked due to the downforce created, and the reduced strength by having the big holes in the upsides. Not talking from experience, just from other people's. Does look good though, but I think you have to go the whole hog with a full bodykit.

If you fancy a Rev5 spoiler... buy a TRD spoiler and swop with me! Serious.

Yes the MRD rear spoiler has been known to crack and it seems once cracked even when repaired they'll still open up again.

The TRD rear spoiler if it's not genuine often has some major fitting difficulties according to what I've read in the past.

Still looks damn good though...

I'll bare that in mind, cheers Row.

Will accept genuine TRD rear spoiler only! :P
