Hi all, the sunroof on my mk1 4afe will tilt but not slide (it's been that way for about two years). I was half tempted to take it apart and see if I could restore it. However, the haynes manual recommends leaving it to a pro.

Has anyone disassembled one of these? is it worth the effort?!
