Lighter Socket/12v Socket

My husband plugged in a compressor to the 12v socket on my hybrid auris to do the tyres.

Cannot for the life of me get it out. No amount of twisting and pulling will loosen it.

Any ideas?

Have a look at the following - http://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/151076-tomtom-charger-plug-jammed-in-power-outlet-socket/

Seems the most painless approach is to pop into your Toyota dealer, nicely ask them whether they can remove it, and probably not use the same compressor in future

Has any Auris hybrid driver had problems put the car into EV mode

No but mine won't start from cold in EV mode (the engine comes on and it goes to ECO mode) and if you put it in EV mode mine won't' go very fast at all (might have been because the Battery was low?)

I've never worried. Just assignment the ECU was doing its job.

What's your problem?

Hello Anthony - welcome to Toyota Owners Club.

I've changed your profile so the first name reads 'Anthony' not 'Anghony'.
