Hi all

As always having this trouble with my avensis with lack of power and hesitance

Long story short, i bought a cheap obdii reader on eBay (vgate 890) works perfectly for the check engine light, but this gizmo does live readings.

Such as voltage on the o2 sensors, manifold pressure, my rpm, remaining miles and other things.

Is there somewhere a website, a free download or a kind email to me, about the correct live values for the car.

Made up, i have a voltage on a o2 sensor of 0.600v on tickover. is that good, bad, or average that drops for no reason to 0.055v

I just need like a big list of what the maximum and minimum tolerances are for the live data streams f there is a such a thing..

Your o2 sensors will be constantly varying as the react to the levels of oxygen in your exhaust it's almost impossible to give an minimum/maximum tolerance on them.

Did you measure the 0.6v on your 02 when it was cold or warm as it needs to be at operating temp to work properly, some engines will be in closed loop while idling most will be in open loop until up to temperature.

The cheapest and easiest way to get live data is to buy a elm327 bluetooth adapter that plugs into your obd2 port, you can buy ones compatible for both android and/or iPhone then download an app onto your phone and connect it.

This has the advantage of obviously being highly portable but also data logging all your live data to. a

.csv file which you can read with any office suite,this will lay out the data in a spreadsheet format for ease of viewing.

I use torque pro for android as i've found it the best all round app for day to day use and for diagnosing faults. ELMscan Toyota is good as it can display OCV duty cycle, cam angle aimed and actual cam angle but the the lack of anu data logging facility means it's not my favourite, if it had a logging capacity it would be.
