A/c Compressor Clutch/pulley?

Hello,

I've had some annoying sounds from the engine for abit.

Checked it out and I came to a conclusion that it has to be the A/C pulley/clutch(the wheel that goes around with the rim:D) Made some nasty sounds when I shaked it.

So I have bought a new pulley, and want to replace the broken one.

I have tried to dismount it, but couldnt get it off.

Some sort of cover infront of the wheel that I couldnt figure out how to get loose....

Anyone got a tip/video/manual for removing just the pulley/clutch?

Or do I have to dismount the whole damn A/C compressor like the mechanic on Toyota suggested?

a few year back mine starting make a noise, Toyota advised that I had to replace the whole compressor, I just bypassed the aircon by fitting a shorter belt.

I guess thats an option, but I would really like to have A/C :/

its never used exept one week a year if working

mine aint freezing so think ive lost a fair bit of gas in a couple of years

my compressor aint noisey either so may be useful to someone

so can you give me a part number for the shorter belt please!

even though mine is bypassed I have not removed it, its still in engine bay.

part number for the +ac is 90916-02550 length 5pk1250

part number -ac is 90916-02509 length 5pk1110

the alternator belt is 90916-02517.

all part numbers are for the 1cd-ftv engine.

You will have to lock the pully..

once locked nut will turn anti clockwise.

then use a pully extractor
