How To Replace A 1998 Uk Corolla Side Light/parking Light

I found this thread about headlight replacement that includes sidelight replacement, but it is a bit confusing as some of the posters appear to be in the US and their Corolla is different to the UK Corolla:-

Hence, this thread.

My MOT is due next week and I have to replace the nearside (passenger) sidelight (parking light), I get the impression that I need to remove the Battery. If that is the case, can someone please tell me what I need to do next, or will it then become obvious?

EDIT:-

If anyone would like to comment on the replacement of the offside (drivers) sidelight then that may be useful for anyone else who has to replace that.

In reply to my own post:-

After removing the Battery, I still could not really see the sidelight bulb holder but it is situated below the headlamp bulb holder, (note, I have not seen that stated anywhere including the Haynes manual). There are numerous bits and pieces on the back of the headlamp so it is a bit difficult to find. Once located, it was easily unscrewed counter-clockwise by about a quarter of a turn and fairly easy to refit (by feel rather than sight) and screwed back in clockwise.

AND OF COURSE YOU HAVE TO RESET THE CLOCK AFTERWARDS :(
