my car is a import from japan i can locate the button for display and the clock comes up for change but i can not discover how to alter the clock time .can some one help please.? :dontgetit:

The Avensis is only built in the UK - yours would have been exported from the UK to Japan as a new car.

It's done via the steering wheel buttons. I can't remember exactly but it's either hold the button in when it's at the clock setting, or maybe you leave it for a few seconds. Once you have the hours flashing you use the same button to adjust it, then wait on the countdown timer bars to end and it moves onto minutes.
