Daytime Running Lights Fuse

My daytime running lights in my 2007 Yaris sedan have clapped out, even though my headlights still worked when I switched them on. I've replaced the bulbs but that didn't help. The fuse in the interior fuse box which is the one that operates the running lights (I think!!) has broken and left the metal legs behind. Does anyone know how I can get these out so I can replace the fuse?

P.S. I'm in Canada...just in case that makes a difference

So the legs of the fuse are still in the slots? Try tweezers or similar.

Or a pair of small, thin nose pliers? If you have sufficient access to the base of the slots, possibly a small screwdriver like those used for adjusting spectacles to try and lever the blades upwards?

Thanks to both of you for your help - the tweezers worked......I've now discovered however the fuse I was "fixing" was not for the daytime running lights but for the door locks....which are now working.

Do you know in which one of the 3 fuse boxes (interior, under the bonnet near the Battery, or the one on the offside of the engine) has the fuse or relay for the headlights?
