Recommended Posts

Hi every one,

I have - Aygo 1.0 year 2010 Petrol, KM 127000, i have recently noticed strange coolant level drooped to below the minimum level with in 2500 KM driving differences.

and today when i take some pictures under the car i have noticed some pipes damaged. how ever i don't know what are those. but there are no coolant warning lights so far.

is those pipes are anywhere related to radiator system?

if any one experience the same ? how much will it cost to change those?

i just need an idea whats going there before find a mechanic.

please help me.

Thanks

The hose are coolant hoses and the white stains are dried coolant, you have a leak!.

Hi Devon Aygo,

Thank you for your information about the leak, guess time to go to the mechanic.

Aruno,

sorry for late response, if im not mistaken it looks like the same hose however the cable that was rubbing on mine that caused the hole seems to be out of the way on yours put you can easily find the problem yourself, no need for a mechanic. Just fill it up with plain water let the car warm up, put the front wheels on some ramps and have a squeeze on the hoses water should come flying out of the one with a hole (on yours this might be more obvious with the white staining), patch it up for now go straight to Toyota and describe which hose it is and a replacement will only be in the region of £10-£15, un-clip the old one and connect new one using old clips (Jobs a good one). Refill with some anti freeze and water mixture (1/3).

Hope this is of some use.

Regards,

James
