Sub Amp Etc

hi, could someone recommend a sub n amp and any other bits id need for mi yaris.

ive already got 6x9s in and it has a black active sub box under driver seat.

where would i wire it all 2?

well...

although most amps come with a built in crossover..

i love the control in my hands..

get a good solid crossover.. they are rather cheap..

get good front components and a fine headunit..

are you fitting it yourself?

well i have the standard headunit so if i got a new one then Halfords fit for free so they wud do that, the rest id do if it aint too hard, just looking to fit sub n amp really.

Ive got a 1000W Alpine Type R powered by an Alpine Monobloc

are you asking where you would wire the active sub box to?

if you buy a new headunit the rest is kinda easy..

just u got (in most cases) 2 pairs of RCA sockets at the back of the HU.. connect one pair to the first amp and the second to the other..

and from the amps to the Speakers..

HEADUNIT-->AMP-->SPEAKERS

the black box is already fitted to summt, ill get a sub n amp n see if it all fits wi standard headunit.

Got an Alpine Sub myself and i cant really argue about it. Dead punchy whilst still being able to play the rolling deep dronnnnnnes

Becareful with Halfords, reason:

1) THey charge about 100-150 more for headunits than places such as cel-direct and MCS

2) They will struggle fitting it into a yaris because they are a bunch of idoits. They couldnt do mine cos it wasnt possible. I even took them a photo off this forum to show them, then still refused. Im thinking of driving up to shop again and asking the guy to take a look at the headunit that i fitted myself. Might make him feel a little silly
