Drl Fitting, Want To Find Ignition Wire, Corolla E12 Pre-facelift

Hi this is my first post,

I am wanting to fit day light running lights on my Corolla, I have two kits, one you connect to the Battery only and it can dim when you switch headlights on, the other kit need to be connected to the ignition wire, I would prefer to use the other kit as it is more reliable system

Is there a way of finding the ignition wire in the engine bay, instead of taking the steering case and running a wire thur the car, any help would be great

I am sure there is a fuse for the ignition relay
