Rav 4 D4d Poor Starting When Hot Following Turbo Replacement

Hi,

I recently had the turbo replaced on our 03 Rav4 D4D since then it has developed the dreaded hot start problem. Starts perfectly from cold then appears to get progressively harder to start as the engine gets warmer. it turns over but refuses to fire almost as if the Battery is going flat. Worst scenario is after a long journey when it refuses to start until it has cooled for 20 minutes. It has been back to the garage but of course refuses to do it when they look at it. This seems to be a known issue on the forum but without a definite solution.

My question is is there likely to be a connection between the turbo replacement and the hot start issue? If so where would you suggest I start to look for the problem? Its odd as it was starting faultlessly when hot before the turbo issue. Any suggestions much appreciated.
