The Most Convoluted Bluetooth Setup I Have Ever Done. Succeeded!

I managed to register my phones on to the bluetooth handsfree system, but not without trial and error.

After using my Novero Trusty One (similar to Parrot CK3100, but better), the setup seems a little convoluted.

I tried a couple of days earlier and got the impression added by the manual, my car may not have bluetooth. So I was going to try and source another Novero or similar plus the USB function.

Today I succeeded in getting both my phones registered, so I have one less feature to add. I remembered a couple of years back in the forum, a member not getting the his bluetooth working, or thinking he may not have Bluetooth at all!

I think all audio units model number W53828 have Bluetooth and it takes a bit of playing to get the function to work.

The manual does not state the model number as seen on the front of the stereo, which would help a lot.

Since I understand the audio unit functions a bit better, I will add my USB accessory in the coming weeks.

I could change the unit, but will stay stock for now.

This car is getting more like my mk1. :)
