the rear lights on the red CH-R remind me of the honda civic style of rear lights i.e. shape and the way they stick out

got to say the CH-R is not for me, but wouldnt the world be boring if everyone liked the same things.

Ok

Toyota OEM vs RING Xenons 130%+ vs OSRAM Night Breaker Unlimited 110%+

Not best comparison as different car park and only one xenon was working this time

Definitely RING was brighter than OEM by miles, but RING only lasted 20 months...

One RING bulb vs 2 OSRAM bulbs :

I would say, the RING was still brighter?

Damn, wish i had the same car park!

I'm impressed, just a miser and waiting till my present lights fail including the 2 spares

I forgot to wave as I passed by this weekend, while driving to Cambridge and back. You can tell how bad the traffic was, when I was driving on Electric only for some parts of the journey.

Makes perfect sense!

Why waste money/effort on things in life not urgent

How was it driving south?

Good MPG?

Boring?

Power mode ALL THE WAY?

Million cars behind u?

OEM definitely very poor for me

OSRAM + RING obviously 'much' brighter from driver seat

1. As very similar price

2. RING are 'Auto Express' recommended 2016

3. RING to be slightly brighter

I go with RING from now on...

...unless OSRAMs lasts 'much' longer...:laugh::biggrin:

Friday was terrible, just got on the 62 at Milnrow and by the time we got to the dark side we were stuck in stationary traffic. Somebody had gone into the back of a van.
Mpg was the usual 55, even with using power a couple of times ;-)
Millions of cars behind and in front lol

Have the dashboard displaying instant mpg, you would be surprised at the speeds your using no fuel, just electric. Only when going up hill, it’s not going to be as good. Could easily do the whole journey with one tank. Just with the chance of being stuck on the motorway, I didn’t want to risk it.

  • 1 month later...

Finally got a brief chance to try the cross climate tyres out in the snow. Was in the hills near Shaw. No hesitation, but had to crawl because of the mist.

Nice pic!

I drove past Preston about 4pm enroute to Colne to home today!

Traffic was ok

Until lorry accident on the other side and as usual EVERYONE on my side slowed down to see causing a gridlock - nosey gits!

If it’s not an accident, there is always someone threatening to jump.

How u know this?

On one occasion I was driving home and I was passing a bridge while one person was on the wrong of the railings. On the other side of the motorway the police was stopping traffic. On my side the police must have been behind me.
