Summer months, I don’t remember any at this time of year.
Instead you get the ninjas crossing the roads in the dark, one of them appeared through a hedge, luckily was alert and missed them. Poorly lit road with no pavements.

Driving home last night and just realised my new OSRAM NightBreakers though absolutely fine in lit up areas - but i couldnt see a THING on unlit roads/motorways

It was like when i had original Toyota bulbs in

Is it me getting old?

Or these 110% brighter bulbs just like that?

Might put RING 130% back in

I have accepted a job in Wigan now, so my daily commute will be either from M606 to M6 (Wigan) or M65 to M6 (pass your house)

Here is a pic from the Dashcam, so you can compare the standard Toyota bulbs.

You wouldn’t be passing me exactly. If you were getting on the motorway at Lancaster then you would be. Or going to Blackpool.

Really depends how reliable is your Toyota! :)

Or how good is your DIY skills - lol

My diy skills on this car so far, has been to replace the offside washer jet and tail light. It’s the radio I’m more worried about. It has an intermittent problem, it either doesn’t turn on or the bluetooth plays up.
My previous car wasn’t bought from Toyota and ended up finding a second hand radio at a scrap yard. Since Toyota’s price was £1000 just for the part.

Nice

My DIY is terrible - cant even change oil filter

But love to dabble with old cars - easier to play with!

I swopped the entire sunroof and radio aerial once on a 1991 VW Corrado :)

Had to laugh when they brought my car back, had Toyota collect it for a service. The guy who brought it back asked about the red thing attached to the cd slot. My own custom designed and 3d printed phone holder.

There are a lot of clones of the Prussian research, mine was a £150 clone from eBay. For me the gamble paid off.
There again I used to be a tv and video engineer

So if you get one, you know someone who can help.

There are parents making cool toys from 3D printers

I think huge markets for the printers esp things no longer made - like car parts esp all those trims we like in classic cars - oooh

I’m still working on replacement rivet things to secure the bumper at the wheel arch. Either I can’t make it small enough or it brakes. Since it cost next to nothing to experiment, it keeps me entertained lol
