Only a light dusting this morning...

We got a light dusting here, but by the time I left for work it was raining. Still the car handled well in the slush.

Some drivers are so dumb and just stomp on the gas pedal and don't get anywhere lol

Here's my car in the snow last week. It also didn't last long - by the afternoon the snow had gone.

I bought some from Aldi last Friday for £1.99.... they had Automate leather cleaner and Automate car polish as well.

I thought my windows were clean but this shifted some muck.   Rain just blobules now and rolls off. Did side windows and front/rear lights and the rear view camera on both our Prius and Auris.

  • Thanks 1

Thanks for this :)

Did u spray and wiped immediately?

Or spray, let it haze then wipe?

I followed the instructions, sprayed (and its fine), used a microfibre cloth to wipe in a circular overlapping motion, left to dry (did other windows), used a second (clean/dry microfibre cloth) and buffed up. Note I use microfibre cloths - brilliant as they "grab" any dust/dirt about.

I wiped immediately probably not so rain repellant on mine car then..

Will let it haze next time then!

Boosted by CatLovers results...

2nd attempt in sunny weather

Waited for haze, then buff with MF

Not a thorough test but, nah

6 years old and 70k miles,

My car has the Toyota Extended Warranty

Dealer said "Sorry, Warranty claim has been declined. Would cost £200 to replace Check Strap"

Rung Toyota Warranty direct,

"Your ORIGINAL warranty may have covered bodywork/related, but the Extended Warranty does NOT cover bodywork/related"

It’s my rear doors that suffer, mainly from not being used as much.

But

1. My 2012 Auris got 59mpg on motorway (MUCH better than my city of 54mpg)!

PGt94M.jpg

2. But the 2017 Yaris Hybrid SAME route yields 65mpg!

Fancy LCD screen too!

That’s one thing I hate about the Yaris hybrid, that horrible gear stick. Prefer what the Prius and Auris have.

Having said that, for the money it’s not bad.
The amount of regen during braking is a joke compared to the auris. When slowing on the slip road the auris recharges the Battery quicker.
