Can finally say I have tried the car flat out on the German autobahn. 115 showing on the clock and yet it still felt smooth and steady.
I had to overtake some slow Germans and the others weren’t lol

Still managed to get an average of 57mpg [emoji2]

Remembered to use hybrid assistant today. Must remember to use iron the way back to the boat on Tuesday and on Wednesday when leaving the boat.

But door to door is 64mpg!

i'm not surprised of your milages ,when i had my CT i used to average 58mpg winter to 63mpg summer

up to 68mpg on a long journey

Well

Since commuting in new job on M62, the weekly mpg has increased from 54mpg to 64mpg 🙂

 

now i start a new job in sept, its no more M62 - so my mpg should drop back to 54mpg again (summer)...

My normal commute is less than 4 miles each way, otherwise I would do better than 54mpg. Preston for a small city, you get nowhere fast in rush hour.

So the Battery drains while your stuck lol

A lorry carrying wagon wheels crashed into cattle bridge on the M6 and Preston was grid locked for a day.

Makes crossing the Pennines look easy Peasy lol

Back from holiday and the mpg is still 56/7mpg. Even with the odd spurts of 108mph (115 on the speedometer) on the autobahn clocked up 852 miles using 70 litres.

The weather was kind to me on Wednesday, it only went bad after I had got home and unpacked the car. Will say I am more impressed with the car after this holiday than last time. Expected the bursts of high speed to really dent the economy, but I barely made an impact. Probably because I was gliding/coasting back to my normal speed. 

While driving home from hull I managed to almost max the Battery when going doing some steep hills.

Sat nav decided to take me through Barnsley and Halifax pesky setting on the sat nav on my phone lol
