I agree!

So was I when my mpg went up from 54mpg to 64mpg on my M62 commute

As u said, gentle on gas pedal/flat or downhill roads makes a massive difference even better than city driving!

So u sticking to current car or looking forward to a new hybrid then?

I still fancy the CH-R (dare I say even the Golf GTE or New Nissan Leaf with a amazing 0-60 of 8sec!!!)

Lol

I just renew my road tax for £0 🙂

At the moment I am keeping this one, I have been thinking about a second hand leaf. Their prices are similar to what I paid for the Auris.

I haven’t had a test drive in one yet.

Shame the second hand plugin Prius prices are so high, otherwise I would go for one. The last one I saw had the petrol cap on the passenger side and the charging on the opposite side. [emoji2]

Old leaf too ugly for me - lol

Range and performance average...

But new leaf is impressive!

How about getting an AK-47 Tesla???

I saw the ak47 in the news before and chuckled. Thought lada lol

Still have 2 years left on my warranty, so not in a rush to change [emoji3]

Saw a couple of Tesla model S on the motorways while in Europe.

Hopefully new Battery technology will arrive and bring prices down.

I have some news for you,

I'm getting rid of my trusty Auris hybrid, but don't panic I haven't lost the plot.

I am upsizing to the Auris touring sport.

The dealer where I bought the present car, had some event on this weekend and it was to tempting.

A bigger car for 1950 quid after trading in both hybrids. My mother isn't these days and likes being driven lol

So I am picking up the newer car of Friday.or Thursday if I can get the day off.

If it's an official Toyota Extended they will give you a refund for the unused complete years.

The second generation Auris hatchback was launched in December 2012, and the Touring Sports in February 2013. The second generation (2012-2019) was a re-worked first generation (2007-2012), and carried forward the same Type Approval. The mid-life facelift was launched March 2015.

Today I thought I would try driving in power mode, felt like driving turbo charged compared to eco mode [emoji2]
Was harder to drive and achieve the same mpg.

Just eager to compare the current one to the new one 😁

eco feels like normal

normal feels like sport

& sport is great.

Thanks for sharing, not sure exactly what it does though. 😉

5 minutes to fit and the throttle response is improved greatly

the lag between putting your foot down and accelerating

is reduced greatly your cars so much more responsive

and far nicer to drive thats why i said

once you have had it fitted for a few days if you turn it off your car feels dead

and you wonder how you could of driven the car before.

fitting is simple

take the plug off the accelerator pedal

pedal box has a y cable 1 end connects to the original cable the other end goes onto your accelerator pedal

jobs fitted

you wont be sorry having the cross climates

i had them fitted on my last IS300h rwd and they gripped really

well in the winter months with no wayward rear end

i bought them in june 16 and in April 18 i sold my car and the

tyres where still good.

Oh and they are nice and quiet.
