At work we have about 8 tubs each containing 60 lion batteries. If only I could add them to the car [emoji13]
Probably would have 30+ miles in ev

Free batteries, but a shame it's not easy to make use of them

I now have your condition, the headlights are terrible [emoji35]
I can see them when something is in front of me or at the side.
Especially when you have gone from main beam to dipped when someone is approaching, it’s like I’m driving blindfolded lol

I will be looking if there is anything like I had on my Verso, normal looked like main and main looked like to search lights.

I’ll have to see what mine has as standard.

Toyota Optiwhite HIR2 ~£48/pair part no. T90981-YZZDN iirc

However, some people have had their Auris headlights replaced foc by Toyota  because of nearside cutoff problems - search the forum.

we had the foc headlight upgrade 2 years ago very little difference.

if toyota had led headlights fitted on the excel models i would retro

fit these in place of the rubbish fitted as standard

i am seriously thinking of fitting hids even though deep down i am

against them being retro fitted but kath needs to be able to see

where she is going, obviously the earlier you can see hazards

the earlier you can react and avoid them.

I’ll give it a go, and then keep the old ones for use in a emergency.

I noticed something for the first time yesterday, I was on the motorway and decided to accelerate to overtake a lorry that I was creeping up on. After passing the lorry, I let the cruise control bring the speed back to what it was set to.
I noticed on the screen that it displayed one 30Whr block.
So I guess that it helps prove the theory of the cruise control will apply the brakes when the speed exceeds the set speed.
