Rav4 (2005) Cd Player Questions

Hello everyone.

I'm brand new to this forum and only picked up a hand-me-down RAV4 yesterday.

What a great vehicle!!

I have a couple of really simple newbie type questions.

I've seen the trip/navi function and like it, but... I don't seem to be able to turn the display back to the cd player. I'm guessing it's a "hold xxx down for 2 seconds" or something simple, but can't find it anywhere.

Also - I'm going to need a new Battery soon and worried about not having the code for the cd player. Do these systems actually have a keycode for after the new Battery is connected?

Just press the DISC button again and it reverts to the cd display.

No radio code on either of ours.

Aha, that works perfectly. I knew it was something simple, but I had new-dashboard blindness ;-)

Thanks for confirming the lack of radio security code too - that'll save me no end of trouble when I hook up a new Battery.
