Hi, just bought a RAV4, 3Door and i think it is great.

Because it is 3 door boot space is exposed, is there anything i can do to cover it so that it doesn't expose what i have? boot lids or anything like that? I was think of getting like a trunk of some sort.

Also noticed the wing mirror when i try to adjust it, it keeps doing that snapping noise and doesn't move, i have to keep using my thumb to move it, Does anyone know how much it will be to fix that? or I might have to take it back to the dealership to get it fixed.... which i can't be bothered because it is a bit far.

Also any good garages in the Berkshire areas within a few miles of bracknell who can do a check on wheel balancing or alignemnt?

Hello Damian and a big welcome to the club. There is a post from a member who in the past made a load cover for his RAV using plywood.

Might be a idea to look at the top right hand corner of the page where there is a box marked search and put something like DIY load cover. it will ask you where you want to look so click this forum

See if that helps

Again welcome

Del

The elec door mirrors usually make a clicking noise and they judder when they reach the full extent of their adjustment. I've found that they don't adjust far enough ideally for me but there is a fix on here somewhere which puts little plastic spacers in the mirror mounting so that it is angled further outwards and therefore the max adjustment is more useful..

As Del says about the luggage cover, if you search for door mirror fix, or similar, it should come up.

Edit: This is it; http://www.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/137770-42-door-mirror-glass-removal-minor-mod/

I did thid on my previous 4.2 and it was a great solution. Good luck.
