What Baby Seats Fit In The New Avensis?

We're expecting our first child in 6 weeks time and so yesterday went out to get a baby seat. My wife has had her eye on the same one for months (Maxi Cosi Cabrio) but when it came to fitting it - the seatbelts in the back of our new Avensis T3S just weren't long enough.

We thought "Oh well, we'll just try another kind then", only to find that none of the seats in the shop would fit, for the same reason.

The kind of seat we're after is a "0+" model - rear facing, for babies up to 13kg. The kind you can carry them around in, as well as strap them into the car.

Has anyone else had similar problems or can recommend seats that can be fitted?

(We've tried all the Mammas & Pappas ones too)

Cheers

Grant

we have both a graco carry type one and a britax first class si and they both fit fine.

the one problem with the seatbelts on the new avensis is that once you stop pulling out the belt it locks and you have to reel it all the way back and start again.

if you go to Halfords they will fit any seat for you there and then. which is what we did with the britax.

if you go on the britax website then it tells you which seat and which position you can fit each seat. also i found that britax do the most testing on different cars.
