Avensis Leather Lumbar Support Switch Not Working

my lumbar support has stopped working on the drivers side, when I press at first I can hear the motor but nothing happens after a few presses of the button the motor cannot be heard again.

When you press the reduce button, does it hiss to release the air? Just thinking it reached maximum, but it could be a bad motor or loose connection.

My Mk3 has a similar system.

no hiss it does not come out far enough... I am going to take seat out or lean it forward to clean connection contacts.

Still not got round to fixing this, after a long drive yesterday I really need to get this fixed. has anyone experienced this before
