Hi

Can I ask you knowledgeable chaps a few questions please.

1 Is a smaller font rear number plate illegal? (mine is an import)

2 I understand I need to sort a rear fog light for the mot. Is there an easy way to do this please?

3 Parts are hard to find. Which are the best sites?

The font stipulations apply to new number plates bought since September 2001, irrespective of when the car was first registered.

Some people fit 'show' plates, which are commonly sold by online firms, and these don't satisfy legal requirements.

I see most imports without a rear fog light will have a separate unit dangling from under the bumper - ugly in my opinion.

I got a garage to re-arrange the rear cluster lights of my former JDM and made 2 of them rear fogs

Really depends if your rear cluster lights can free some extra lights though...

I think to avoid annoying plod I'll fit a discreet fog light and change the number plate, mot due soon.

Another question please, how often would you check the coolant charger level and what type of coolant can be used? I also have an Audi which has their "oh me must use pink OAT" would that be compatible?
