Smudges On Dash - What Should I Use?

Hi,

I've noticed a couple of smudges on the brushed metal-effect dash of my new Auris TS Icon and they keep catching my eye from a certain angle and annoying me. I tried using a bit of water and a cloth to get rid of them but that makes the smudge bigger. Is there a certain way to clean the dash or a certain product I should use / shouldn't use?

Cheers,

G

Have you tried any dash/trim cleaners

the autoglym range is quite good. maybe this

you may be able to get cheaper from your local motor factors

I haven't yet but I've found threads on here with plenty of cleaning products so I'll give those a go. Cheers!

Or you could use something like the dasboard wipes which are quick and easy, and a bit cheaper - http://www.halfords.com/motoring/car-cleaning/interior-cleaning-vacuums/armor-all-matt-dashboard-wipes-x-20

Just be aware that some makes like Armor All are available in matt and glossy

Thanks, I'll make sure I check. Maybe I'll see if Toyota can give me some freebies for the misaligned door...
