Avensis T27 Estate Rear Brake Service (epb)

Hi

Wondering if anyone has had any success in changing rear discs and pads on a 2009 Avensis with an Electronic Parking Brake. I've read a few topics on here but can't find anything definitive on what tools are actually required.

I have techstream on my laptop and an OBD2 cable and I'm aware that this required to release the calipers, however other users have reported that a piston rewind tool is required to fully push the pistons back. I'm fairly confident as far as the techstream end of it goes, however if I need a manual rewind tool I'd prefer to have one to hand.

Any input would be very much appreciated.

Yes you need a rewind tool, but other than that I changed mine without any problem no reset required.
